Quality Measures Specialist

The Quality Measures Specialist assures that required medical testing has been provided by checking medical chart documentation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Communicates with providers to request documentation
Sets up appointments for follow-up visits with patients
Maintains a database of quality measures that have not been met to assure compliance
Communicates with insurance companies, lab staff and diagnostic testing sites
Identifies new patients from provided information
PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Job duties require general knowledge acquired through high school or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate program. Associates degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
Ability to prepare basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Word
Ability to use Microsoft Excel to create tables and simple displays of information
Ability to learn and operate EHFM technological software
GENERAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Requires basic organizational skills, typically to organize own work
Works independently
Requires the ability to effectively perform in response to workflow or ongoing direction by supervisors or others Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
