Auburn Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking to hire a highly motivated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our successful OB/GYN practice in Auburn, NY. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to all patients.
Position Requirements
Experience in labor and delivery
Perform vaginal deliveries
Participate in a reasonable call schedule
Develop individualized treatment/birthing plans for Obstetrical and Gynecological patients
Perform histories, exams, and patient follow-ups
Utilize the latest evidence-based practices to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
Given the nature of the OB/GYN discipline, dedication, commitment and flexibility are of paramount importance
Foster a positive environment for patients and staff
Demonstrate a culture of caring and strive for excellence in all aspects to deliver the highest standard of patient-centric care
Position Schedule
The position is a 40 hour per week job comprised of two 8-hour days in the outpatient office and one 24-hour on-call shift per week. Optional on-call coverage shifts are available for additional compensation.
_Rotating weekend and holiday coverage of L&D may be required._
Required Criteria
Master's Degree in Nursing
Midwife Certification
Current New York State RN License (or willingness to obtain)
Registered in New York State for Advance Practice required
Previous experience in L&D or an OB/GYN practice as a Midwife or RN
BCLS certification required
Salary commenserate with experience

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
